观音在中国来说是道教，佛教的历史比道教短，佛教发源地是印度，四家模拟是个皇子，放弃荣华富贵到神圣修面成佛，四大皆空。因为佛教在印度发扬不起来，所以就把佛教传入中国，但传入后又没办法很容易的推广，所以就想把道教的神名归入佛教。中国比较信仰观音，把观音菩萨（慈悲）、关公（佳兰菩萨）（忠义）为了佛教生存观音娘娘是道教，纳入佛教。
In China, Guanyin is considered to be part of both Taoism and Buddhism. The history of Buddhism in China is relatively short compared to that of Taoism, and it originated in India. The story of Buddha involves a prince who renounced his material wealth and became enlightened through spiritual practices, including the realization that the four elements are empty. Buddhism did not flourish in India, so it was brought to China. However, it was not easily accepted and so to promote it, some of the gods and goddesses from Taoism were incorporated into Buddhism. Chinese people have a strong faith in Guanyin, who represents compassion. Additionally, General Guan Yu, who represents loyalty and righteousness, was also incorporated into Buddhism for its survival. Therefore, Guanyin is considered to be part of both Taoism and Buddhism in China.
